Here are some instructions that I wrote for folks that are looking to find out how to build kernel modules for your v2 PogoPlug that didn't ship with the device.

Hi heman,
Where is your instructions? It seems it's broken.
I am trying to obtain ftdi-sio and usbserial but I could not "make" it. It failed on the compilation. One file called:

arch/arm/mm/proc-arm926.S:62:67: error: ../mach-feroceon-kw/kw_family/ctrlEnv/sys/mvCpuIfRegs.h: No such file

Do you have those two files? the source code files are under
driver/usb/serial.
Thanks!

Thank you for that link, OddballHero.
OK, I see that the V3 kernel requires the CodeSourcery arm-2008q3... but
Which toolchain was used for the V2 original kernel?  Does anyone know?  I'd rather not do it by trial and error, if possible.

I'm not 100% sure it would matter... but something tells me to avoid mixing apple and oranges here...

(edit... looks like maybe it _is_ the 2008q3 ... ? can anyone confirm this for clarity's sake - and future readers?)

===========

Definitively answered... 2008q1 - I built them and they load fine.
