I'm new to pogoplug but I'm having a problem.  I'm not sure if it's the pogoplug or my drive.

I have a 500GB SATA  drive attached to the pogoplug.  The SATA drive has a ~350GB sparse image on it.  I use SuperDuper! on the Mac to write to the file nightly.

Almost daily I find that the SuperDuper script has failed because it cannot mount the image.

If this has happened I also notice that the drive no longer appears in my.pogoplug.com (although the Mac client has not made it disappear from my desktop!!).

What do you think the problem could be?  I have noticed that the hard drive is awfully warm but that's normal, right?  If I unplug the drive from the PogoPlug and then plug it into my Mac it appears immediately and will mount the sparse image, etc. without any problems.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
