Forgive my ignorance but I searched and couldn't find an answer to my question.

I use a Mac at home and an XP laptop.  I want to install the PogoPlug software on each OS and have access to all of my HFS+ drives attached to the PogoPlug.

Is that possible or will they all have to be FAT32 so that each OS can recognize them?

Thanks!

Great question, and yes, it will work great. This is one of the really cool things about Pogoplug - you can attach any format drive and access it from any OS, browser or mobile device.

Officially, the supported file formats:
EXT2, EXT3, FAT32, NTFS, and HFS+ (Journaled and non-Journaled).
Browsers:
Mac - Safari, Firefox
PC - IE (7, 8), Firefox, Chrome

Supported operating systems
10.5, 10.6 - it is correct that the Mac drive app is not officially supported when booting into 64 bit - the browsers will work but not the drive app
XP (32 bit)
Vista (32 & 64 bit)
Windows 7 (32 and 64)

Supported Phones
iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Palm Pre - we're working on Symbian and Windows Mobile; and we're looking into your issue with the Pearl Chris - quite odd - I thought the problem was only with getting the binary from AppWorld - sorry I missed an actual bug here - what is the issue you're encountering?

What version of Symbian are you planning to support? I bought a pogoplug and I'm waiting delivery now. I have a Nokia N97 and a Nokia E72, planning on getting the Nokia N8. The first 2 use symbian1 and N8 uses symbian3.

While probably not the coolest right now symbian is the most used smartfone OS in the world and I like mostly the hardware it runs on. Can you give an idea of the ETA?

Also once you have Android support I guess it should be "easy" to port that to Maemo, or am I imagining things?

Regards

Nuno
