Just got a Seagate DockStar for a customer, and don't need the remote access to the unit, nor any of the media sharing features as we just want to use it as a secondary, offsite backup for Windows 2003 Server, rotating between a few FreeAgent Go drives.  I understand the benefit of having http://dockstar.pogoplug.com to be able to manage this remotely, but when I'm on the same LAN and don't care about remote access it would be really nice to just have a small, local admin page on the device itself.

Furthermore, I had a lot of trouble registering the device at said website above in IE8, IE8 with Compatibility Mode, FireFox 3.6, and finally had to use Google Chrome to be able to step through the entire registration without problems.  So a suggestion on the public web access?  Make it standardized.  As an IT consultant, I was able to try things a regular user wouldn't be able to.  (FWIW I'm using Win7 x64).
