With Mcdonalds now offering free wifi I was wondering if it is safe to use the iphone app in a public hotspot ? If I log in from my favorite Mcdees using my Ipod touch am I exposing my PogoPlug username / password ? and does it create a secure connection ?

the iPhone app sends the user credentials (email address/pw) over ssl, so there is no way someone could intercept, even in a McDonalds
