I got a new PogoPlug for Christmas. I currently keep all my pictures and videos on the 1TB drive in my Apple Time Capsule. I assumed I could connect the PogoPlug to the Time Capsule via USB (had a heck of a time finding a straight, non-converting male to male USB cable). Once connected, it doesn't seem to see the Time Capsule disk. I can plug in another stand-alone external USB drive and it works fine. Am I mistaken in my assumption that the PogoPlug would be able to access the media files on the Time Capsule for internet sharing?

yup! unless the time capsule can get a host mode on it, then you wont see the files... sorry man.. The time capsule will only host other drives...

Bummer. thanks for the quick answer though. I guess I'll just pick up a 1TB external drive. They're dropping in price so fast.

Guys I still don't get it! Could u help me with my dilemma.
I'm about to buy pogo plug but I own already time capsule (very happy). My TC it works as an airport (wifi connection home). If I buy pogo plug can I connect together ? It would work? How to connect both of them?
Pogo plug required USB, TC has own USB plug!
So can I get my TC storage with Pogo plug on The Clouds ?
Buy or not to buy? If not any other solution to get access to my data when I'm work from my house?

Its not going to work, the usb in the TC is to plug a hard drive or a printer, that means, the TC is the controller of those devices. the TC usb is not designed to be as a connection to allow other divice to be the controller...
I'm sorry for my english, i don't know if I'm explaining right.

the solution i find is to get a mac mini, use it as media server, and at the same time to make a partition to use it as a time capsule drive, this drive is going to be shared in the network in that way ur computer can use it as time machine.
and in that mac mini you install the pogo plug software.
