So I'm copying a few large files to the pogoplug drive. The whole shootin' match stops after about an hour (it's an 8 GB transfer) saying there's no room on the drive. But the pogoplug drive has 30 GB free, so that was strange. I check my laptop drive, to discover it has 0 bytes free, and of course my mail package is now shrieking across a large range of frequencies because it can't find any empty blocks to commandeer for incoming spam. I quickly free up about a GB to keep the mail package mellow, and start investigating why my laptop drive is suddenly missing 32 GB of free space. AH! There's a file called pogoplugfs.log.toupload which happens to be about 31 GB in size! It is a ginormous log file, and it contains stuff like:

I have no clue what that mp3 is, but I did have iTunes running. Anyway, apparently that last message created an extra large log file that filled all available space and cpu time. Evidently the write to the pogoplug drive was failing repeatedly and a log was kept on the local drive. Shouldn't there be a "repeats 30404046 times" message in there to keep the log from doing what it did?
