Is this limitation of only 256MB Ram a serious flaw or is it adequate? Why are the other plug devices at 512 and PogoPlug only at 256? It seems to me that the additional ram would be extremely critical in running other apps.

Good question!

Take a look at this page:

This gives real time statistics for a sheevaplug running a website. It would be interesting to set up a similar page for a pogoplug.

Yeah, I agree, and I'm not sure why Cloud Engine didn't take the opportunity to add ram to their v2 pogoplug. I would have upgraded to it if they had..
