I have all of my media files on a Netgear ReadyNAS - which is great for wireless access, not so for accessing when I am out and about. So, if I could get the ReadyNAS to work in conjunction with Pogoplug then all my needs will be met and I could give my PC a well earned rest!

Would writing an add-on for the ReadyNAS be possible? I'm sure it would add interest to both products!

Just an FYI. Netgear has a "Remote" app that works like the pogoplug drive app. Now you can't do video/audio playback as such, but you can access your files remotely through that on the Readynas (I have one too). It's free. Do a seach for ReadyNas Remote, and you should find it. It's free, and easy to install..

Hey bluemoonin65, mind if I ask which ReadyNAS you have? It's unrelated to the topic, but I'm just wondering.

Begunfx - Hi & thanks for the info. Whilst I am aware of the program and use it when abroad with my laptop; but I was hoping to use Pogoplug to get simple access to my media files on my iPhone without needing to leave the PC running. One day my dreams will turn into reality Wink

Crimsonreduk - hi - I have the NV+ stocked with 4 x 1.5Tb HDDs and I have to say that on the whole it does a superb job.
