Have you seen this thread?

Both NTFS and EXT3 will do the job. If you're a MS Windows person then NTFS is probably easier for you to work with.

Hi Everyone I tried searching for a thread discussion for my question..but didn't have much luck.
Basically I would like to know how to overcome the 4gb file size limit on my pogo drive. I read somewhere that I can simply just format my usb drive as NTFS or EXT3 and this should overcome the problem?
Before I attempted to move all my files off the drive and reformat it I wanted to ask for advice.
Thanks in Advance.
Hey Flynn,
ianjb is correct - either of those, or on a Mac HFS+ (journaled or non-journaled) will allow you to have files larger than 4 gb. The size limitation is actually one of the FAT32 file system, not the Pogoplug per se.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314463 - if you're curious 'You cannot create a file larger than (2^32)-1 bytes (this is one byte less than 4 GB) on a FAT32 partition.'
Thanks for the replies guys.. I have reformatted my drive as NTFS since i frequently move it between my pogoplug and my windows systems.
This has resolved my problem ! :)
