Hi Pogoplug Community,

i have an Seagate Dockstar (which is currently the only way to get a Pogoplug in Europe)
and had two 2,5" drives connected to it via USB. (The Dockstar has multiple USB Ports).

As soon as i did that the trouble started:
One of the drives wasn't available anymore, the drive names disappeared, etc.
In general it was an unstable situation which was leading to the fact that i went back to a single drive operation.

Both drives were running in HFS+ (Mac).

Are you aware of that kind of issues? Is that fixed in 2.0?

I've noticed the same thing. I also currently have a problem with the DockStar not recognizing a FreeAgent Go (it previously did) as well as a Maxtor One Touc.

I'm working with tech support to try to resolve both issues

Hey Craiger953, did you solved your issues?
I currently only use my WD 500 GB 2.5" drive connected to the Dockstar, but i have here another 640 GB 2.5" FreeAgent Go just waiting to be used as additional storage for my Pogoplug/DockStar.

Not yet - I'm still working with Pogoplug's tech support on the issue. You might try disabling Samba on the Dockstar (turn it off under the web UI settings, WFS) and see if that makes a difference.

I also have this problem, connecting two drives to the dockstar seems to make the media search function go for ever and the samaba functionality eventually stops.

I have 3 drives connected to mine and have had to change all scan settings to "never" in order to keep Samba functioning.
