Some users on Twitter and members here have noticed that the V2 software/firmware rollout has begun, and that some of the new features that were announced are becoming available.

Please feel free to post your experiences with the new features.

Note: The upgrade is not yet entirely "complete," additional upgrades to the Pogoplug Drive software will roll out next week.  Until then, some of the new features, such as media syncing, will not be available.

I've noticed a distinct slow down while writing files to a drive attached to the device. This is in Windows 7 and simply a copy/paste operation. Gigabit network and write speeds used to be 20-30MB/sec, now they are around 4MB/sec. This is also a Seagate Dockstar, if that makes any difference.

I've noticed that my drive doesn't work at all following this.

@Tom

I believe you already have a Dockstar Support request into Pogoplug Support. If not, please submit a request using http://pogoplug.zendesk.com/requests/anonymous/new

Yes, I do have a support request in, thank you. I was just curious to see if any others might be having the same issues I am.
