At this time the only way they could really do that is by having them install the Pogoplug drive app and upload that way. I agree it would be easier if they could do it via the web app.
I suggest that you give us an easier way to add/upload multiple files (or a whole folder) in one step via the Web Client. The present system asks you to browse for each individual file to be uploaded, which is a painful process!!
If someone wants to share a folder with us, let's say a music album, they have to add to the upload window each individual file by browsing for them one at a time. Adding ten files (an average music album) is a long process. If they want to upload a folder which may have 50 pictures, then the process will take forever!

Yes, that;s the way I do it, though with plenty of problems (see http://www.pogoplugged.com/forum/thread/12068/Thumbnails-Revisited/ )
This approach wouldn't help, however, with the second situation - someone with whom I'm sharing a folder, and who would like to add / upload / contribute many files to share with me...
I agree that this is a very desirable feature.
I've seen only a couple of posts about writing applications using the web api maybe this would be a good project for someone?
Hey Folks,
We agree that this is a desirable feature, and it is one that we are currently working on. I think it's safe to say that you'll be seeing it in an update to the web service in the not-too-distant future (can't be any more specific than that at the moment).
Any news on this? Having just got my plug, and for some computers I use having the web-interface as the only viable interface, being unable to upload multiple files easily (without individually selecting hundreds of files) is going to be a major limit on how much I use this.
You can select multiple files at one time or all (ctrl-A) from within a folder but you can't just select a folder and have it create the folder and copy all the files to it. Which is what I would like it to be able to do.
