unfortunately h.264 support was added to flash version 9, so any flash player before version 9 won't support h.264 playback.

So I finally realized video streaming works from my.pogoplug after I transcoded the video to h264. This fact should be in the FAQs or if it is, I must learn to rtfm. I'm not really sure if it is streaming or downloading the whole thing though, but anyway, it would be really killer if this worked on my nintendo wii's internet browser which is opera with flash 6. Unfortunately, it does not show the video.
This is something that a lot of people have been looking for. I'm even looking into using openpogo to host the video streaming server. I've been trying jinzora, but it is hard to get it working and it seems like a dead project, forums are not too responsive.
If the my.pogoplug.com website could be compatible with flash 6 and have a slightly smaller video preview window when detecting the wii-opera browser, that would be really great. I honestly think Wii owners would by a pogoplug just for this capability.
Orb does something similar, but I'm not too crazy about it.
