I keep getting this error when trying to upload photos remotely via my connected pogoplug drive on a Windows Vista machine.  I am dragging 8 photos to the P:\pictures\XYZ Folder.  Then I get another error, "Unable to create the folder "XYZ".  The system can't find the specified path.

No files/pictures are uploaded...bummer.

Hey folks,

Parameter is incorrect is an idiopathic symptom (it could be a network connection problem, a file with unrecognizable attributes, a corrupted file, or any number of other causes). That is the error that windows reports and it doesn't tend to be very helpful in diagnosing the actual problem. Logging a ticket with support at http://support.pogoplug.com/requests/anonymous/new is really the best and fastest way to resolve issues like these.

Thanks!
Jon

I've been troubleshooting this problem for 6 months with Pogoplug support and it is still not resolved. Have any of you found a solutions?
Thanks,

If I try do download a folder from the web interface or drag and drop a folder using the desktop client, it either causes the client to crash or generates this error.
Garbage.

I have the same issues on Vista. Drag a from PC to cloud storage...OK. Drag it back to PC - get the 0x80070057 error... Support did get back quickly, but tried push blame onto my hard drives. This morning's test using just cloud storage seems to remove that as being an issue.

I use bitdefender for antivirus and if I complete uninstall it, I do not get the pogoplug error. I have tried to get both bitdefender and pogoplug to provide advice on how they can co-exist but neithr company seems interested. Completely disabling bitdefender services does not work, only an uninstall. Recent updates to bitdefended have allowed copies to pogoplug to work but not active backup.
