Does anyone know if you can find a hack/workaround for removing the Pogoplug icon at the top menu bar? I have my Pogoplug mount at boot and don't find this to be needed. Let me know. Thanks!

How did you get the drive to mount at bootup? I tried and didn't work. I run the mac drive software at startup which always pops up a window that I need to click on to start the software (I have auto login enabled). In windows it connected automatically.

You're right, it will login at bootup but will not mount the attached drive. I am not sure why, but I suppose that is a good thing since you don't unnecessarily spin-up the drive - although for people who depend on the attached storage all the time, it is an annoyance.

Anyway, I'm still looking for an answer to my primary question...
