Can you add one more feature to the voting choices? Can you add Apple Time Machine backup to the list?
Printer server! I don't want to leave one of my computers on all of the time to server a USB laser printer.

Maybe Cloud Engines hasn't seen the demand for it they expected, and have deprioritized it. They could be working on a Blackberry version for all we know.
Personally, I'd dearly love to see proxy support added to the Pogoplug Drive software. As for everything else in the poll, let's just say that we want a full-blown, diskless NAS for $99 and be done with it!

Really I am not wanting a 'Cloud service' I am going the route of openpogo.org to do samba server etc. Just want a quiet little server for home networking.
How about enabling SAMBA support so it doesn't have to be installed afterwards.
Can you please add more options to uploading files through the web interface. I'd like to be able to upload an entire folder or be able to upload multiple files at once. Currently, it looks like you can upload multiple files, but you have to keep adding a new upload widget, and then browse. Seems very inefficient to me. I'd rather have 1 widget, and when you browse be able to select multiple files..
Or is there a way to do this that I'm not aware of?
begunfx> you'll be happy to know we are working on this as we speak, and it will be included in a future release.
I use Time Machine with my 1.5TB Seagate FreeAgent for Mac. Any insight on how to make this work so I can continue to use this external drive for Time Machine and a storage drive that is compatible with my new PogoPlug?
Or is this compatibility issue going to be included in the new release? If so, any ETA on when this will be made available?
Thanks in advance.

Highest Priority Feature: Ability to mount as a network drive (versus the current method of mounting as a local drive). This would enable Offline Files in Windows, which is needed for travel (often with shaky networks) or on an airplane. This would allow the user to work online or offline, transparently syncing (a subset or all of the) content on the Pogoplug. Huge enterprise feature. Not really needed for home LAN use, but is a great enabler for WAN use, and offline.
Medium Priority Features:
Samba Support
Windows Mobile client
I would like for the pogoplug to have the ability to send an email to me every 4-6 hours with the current home ip address so I can log back into my home network when out and about to change my media center pc recordings if necessary. This way I wouldn't have to demand a static ip with the service provider or pay a monthly fee to have a log in service capabilities.
You can use DynDNS for that, your Media Center will update it's DNS with an external lookup Server, you access that and it redirects you to your PC. This is essentially how Pogoplug works, and why you need to access the Pogoplug service, it puts you in touch with your Pogoplug. Essentially the same as skype to, your skype died logs into the Skype service, I'm Here. When you call someone, it goes to the skype service, redirects to wherever that client said it was, and now you go directly P2P. Back to your need, get an account with DynDNS, add the client to your Media Center and poof, you're done. Couldn't be simpler, or more risky (make sure you have adequate security on your PC).
I was thinking a while back it might be nice if the RSS capability could also include compatibility with iTunes podcasts. Then one could set up a friend-and-family podcast.

AMEN!!! USB PRINTER SUPPORT!!!!
Music server, uPNP but not an Itunes server, Itunes regularly makes a mess of my Wifes PC so I don't want it on mine. I use a Turtle beach audiotron, and old Xbox with XBMC and Xbox 360 and a Noxon internet radio so anything uPNP (and small and light) will do, or SAMBA support, to allow the non computer devices to see the drive on the plug.
I'll buy one as soon as Time Machine support is added, and recommend them to all of my clients too. I'm not surprised that this is the most requested feature.
My list of request:
1. USB Print server
2. USB external DVD support
3. Activity report. If I gave someone an invite to download some files. I'll like to know if they did or not, because I would like to uninvite them after they'd completed the download.
4. Time restriction. I would like to give a invite limited time to access my files.
5. Security setting to include ONLY view photo's. Not the option to download them.
6. Mobile control panel. Sometimes I'm in the field and need to give someone access to a folder. It would be great to do this from my blackberry.
Just a few suggestions. :)

Great list! I want them all, but mainly:
3 for sure - admin should be able to see activity. bandwidth calculation would be nice as well. maybe a global limiter??
4 yes - an expiration date/time, or a relative number (like 37 hours from now)
maybe this can already be done, but i have no idea how: use the pogo as a place to store a loop of security-cam footage. for example, my cams could feed my friend's pogo, and his mine.
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0
