I am a palm pre owner, and I'm very interested if an app for that smartphone is being developed and if it is, I would be more than glad to Beta Test or settle for just knowing it's in the works.

I second this request. Would like to see a pogoplug app for this awesome new mobile device. I believe many more requests will follow. Thanks for maintaining a great product and user experience.

I would definitely love to beta test a Pre app if there is one in development. I just got my PogoPlug and love it.

We're working on mobile phone apps for Windows Mobile, iPhone, Blackberry, Symbian (Nokia), Palm, and Android. I can't give an ETA, but it's definitely in the loop.

I would also love to see some support the webOS and the Palm's new devices like the Pre, Pixi, Pre Plus, Pixi Plus.

Actually, the iPhone and Pre devices use basically the same footprint and webkit for web browsing capabilities...I can imagine it would be quite easy to make the Pogo Palm webOS friendly and have something more native then just a web browser interface.

Thanks and keep up the great work!!! Sorli...

We submitted our Pogoplug for Palm app to Palm and are waiting for approval. We'll let you know as soon as it's available.

The Pogoplug app is now available on the Palm App Catalog!

Thank you for getting the Pogoplug App into the Palm App Catalog. I can confirm that it downloaded quickly and is working.

Very cool and looking forward to some videos of the Pogoplug and Pogoplug App running on webOS.

Thanks and keep up the great work!!!

I was pleasantly surprised to see a Pogoplug app in the app store for my Palm Pre. Amazing, thank you so much! The money I spent on my Pogoplug is by far the best investment since a long time.

Seems that Pogoplus isn't supporting the webOS download anymore. Anybody have a link to the client app for the Palm webOS so I can load it to my HP Touchpad?

Unfortunately this link goes to HP web site to send a text msg to your palm phone and not to an actual download site to download the code onto your Touchpad - which is no longer supported....

I was hoping to find the Pogoplug code that runs on webOS so I can load it onto my Touchpad.

@easymacfu, I try that link, but I always get a "not valid for my platform" or some such error... Ideas? (I'm on a Touchpad w/ 3.0.2) I'm dying for a pogoplug for my Touchpad as it makes it's onboard storage size irrelevant and then I can just mount up my entire music and video collection.

You can just go to my.pogoplug.com and it plays fine that way. click on the video and it opens up in a new window, full screen. I watched an episode of breaking bad I had on my pogoplug. Not sure what resolutions it supports, but I think it won't transcode as long as its an mp4, and you turn off transcoding.

EasyMacFU, yes, I knew that, and yes, it worked. BUT... I want to mount as a drive my PogoPlug. Then, the standard WebOS tools for playing music and video will just work. I can't do that w/o EITHER SMB/Samba/NFS on the PogoPlug (Cloud Engine peeps--PLEEEEEASE!?!?!?) or by having a PogoPlug client (with it's alternate FileSystem) on WebOS that can be loaded. I am SURE that the PalmPre one would work, but I can't get the .IPK downloaded from the HP site as I'm not coming from a phone but rather from a tablet.

Anyone know how to download and capture it from HP and then just email it to me? ;-)

Agreed. We need a WebOS app from the Pogoplug team that can be loaded to the Touchpad (yes, I know its a dead product) so we can have the feature function that exists with the iOS and Android platforms.

Just having the browser access is very limiting and hokey

does anyone have the .ipk file that we can side load. havent had any luck finding an app for the touchpad. palm pre app is ok too as long as it allows to log into the pogoplug account.

I tried this link but no download could be activated. Don't know if the link is broken or what.

ARGH!  This download link links back to itself.  I still can't get the darned .ipk file so I can load it with preware...  Ideas???

September 11, 2011 8:44 PM

Ok sorry about that link. Did not test the process.

I was looking for the ipk as well to load on my touchpad. I have pogoplug installed on my pre.

If I find the file I will let you know.

September 11, 2011 8:50 PM

Precental seem to have a method to load it to your phone.

http://www.precentral.net/pogoplug

I have not tried as I already have it installed on my pre.

Not really sure this helps at all though.

But hey who knows...............

September 11, 2011 10:06 PM

This is another dead-end. this link only works with a pre phone (ie something that receives a text message). we really need pogoplug to put the code back out on their site for any pre, pixi, touchpad user to be able to download or install it outside the Palm App store.
