I just got my Pogoplug today and got it all setup. I can't seem to get a whole song to stream to my iPhone. It cuts off before the end after about a minute or so actually. Any ideas? Is this a limit or something, seems dumb if so. Any suggestions are appreciated.

There is no limit to playback. It sounds like your iphone is losing the connection somehow..

It isn't that. I am on my home wifi connection right next to my router. It just stops playing and goes back to the song browser screen.

Anyone have any ideas about this problem? It is one of the mail reasons I bought the Pogoplug and I may have to return it if I can't get this working.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? I continue to have this issue, I cannot no matter how I am connected, Wifi or 3G stream an entire song. It plays about half way through and then just goes back to the folder I started to song from. I can't be the only one with this problem? Doesn't anyone from PogoPlug monitor these forums? I am open to any ideas here, it could be my ISP, but I doubt it as I can do anything else I want with my connection. My upload speed is 10 MBPS, so speed is not my issue. Please offer some suggestions. I am about to return the PogoPlug since the main reason I bought it is to stream MP3s and so far, I have not been able to do this.

Why don't you try emailing support? That's what they are for instead of just babbling on and on it the forum

Well, if you notice, the first response to my post was from someone at cloud engines, I replied to his response in the hopes that he would give me another suggestion. Thank you for your reply, but if you can't offer something constructive, why bother replying?

I just tested this since I thought it never happen to me before, but realize now that I only launched tested the songs before, not let them play all the way through.  I'm new to the iPhone and Pogoplug iPhone app, so have not done extensive testing/usage in the past.  While testing, I tried the same scenarios using files in the root folder and others embedded deeper in the folder structure on drives formated with Fat32, NTFS and Ext3 and received the same problem for all files, random stopping of their playback but never before at least 1 minute.  Only tested over local WiFi (WPA2 Personal Mixed TKIP+AES).  I hope this information helps support trouble-shoot.

Thank you. I am happy to know I am not alone. I suspect this is a bug in the iPhone application. I had another person I know test and they have the same problem, so this is obviously a bigger issue.

I also have this problem I posted the same issue on another thread. I can get maby 3 minutes into a song and it just quits. I wish they would fix this and allow continuous playback of MP3 files on the drive connected to the pogo plug.

Was there ever a resolution to this? I'm having the same problem.

I just got mines today, so far so good. It is my understanding that files have to be transcoded. other wise pogoplug will only play the first 10 seconds, i believe.
