Is there a way you folks cam build a 64 Bit version of software and link against MacFuse's 64 bit dylibs please?

Thanks!

Hey JeffMc,

interesting notion - what's the thinking here?

On the 64 Bit kernel in 10.6, MacFuse only loads its 64 Bit libraries. If you do not have a fat binary linked against both 32 and 64, it will not work on a 64 bit kernel. Normally, most people run 32 bit kernels, but for us A/V professional, we will be migrating to 64 Bit, so we can have the address space (and the memory) to render faster and bigger things.

That makes sense - you doing mostly video or audio? I will put this into our feature set request list for ya.

Mostly Audio. We figured the Pogoplug is a nice way for our satellite studio to access the files.
