I recently purchased the Pogoplug with high aspirations. I've had NOTHING but trouble. Constantly having to repair the disk or refomat the drive has been a daily task. The drive keeps shutting down thus causing an improper unmount which goes on to cause all kinds of corruption problems. I'm not ready to give up on the Pogoplug just yet. I've contacted the Pogoplug support team (which has been a pleasure to work with) numerous times and we seem to have pin-pointed the problem to the way the Pogoplug interacts with the power management functions of the external HDD. Long story short, I'm looking into getting a different drive to use with the Pogoplug.

 My question to you good people is: What drive are you using with your Pogoplug? What drive is working flawlessly with the Pogoplug...I can tell you the Buffalo 1tb Drivestation is crap. Don't use that with the Pogoplug. Your referrals are appreciated. Thanks
