I just purchased a DroboPro and the PogoPlug is not recognizing it. It is formatted HFS+ Journaled and my PogoPlug is running the 1.0.0.17 software.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have contacted @pogoplug and support@pogoplug.com but have not received a response yet. I was hoping that you guys could help.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
I'm having the same issue. I just received my drobo today. The pogoplug sees the drobo in the list under "My library" as "TRUSTED Mass...." but it has an exclamation mark instead of the eject symbol. When you click on it says "This Pogoplug drive is not available" and under this --{view.problems.notsupportd}--
dmesg output from the Pogoplug might shed some light on things. Have you tried to SSH into it and see if you can dig up more info on it? I'll bet it tried to mount it, but failed for some reason or another.

Please submit a ticket to support. I was able to address apeware's issue fairly quickly.

PogoPlug support have been very responsive. They believe they figured out my issue and we will be able to test the fix when I get back in town. Give their support system a shot.
FYI: the current fix is to turn off Journaling using disk Utility (Select Drobo[Pro], hold option while accessing the "File" menu, select "Disable Journaling"). I had to connect the DroboPro to my PogoPlug and restart the DroboPro. It worked fine. If you are using the drive for TimeMachine, the instructions are more complicated. Contact support - They have been VERY responsive [Thanks Chris] - and they can send you instructions.
It sounds like they have a bug with Journaling, but they are supposedly working on it. Maybe this thread will be mute in a couple days/weeks.
Something else I wanted to mention. When you connect a DroboPro (maybe Drobo as well) to the PogoPlug, my.PogoPlug does not update immediately. I restarted the PogoPlug, connected the DroboPro, then reset the DroboPro. I kept refreshing the my.PogoPlug site and it said no drive connected. I gave up for a while and checked back at the my.PogoPlug site several minutes later and the DroboPro showed up. Not sure why it takes so long for it - question for support - but it does seem to show up...eventually. Keep in mind I have about 3TB of data on my DP so this COULD have something to do with it.
Turn off journaling?! Why would I want to do that?! That puts my drive at risk of getting stuck if it looses power or connection in the middle of a transfer. Does anyone else have any insight on this?
Don't worry - All V1 and V2 Pogoplugs work great with Drobo, formatted HFS+ journaled and non-journaled (this is in addition to NTFS, FAT32, EXT2 and EXT3). The original Pogoplug software did not support journaled HFS+ drives, but this has long been taken care of.
I'm afraid my drobo just won't show up unless journaling has been disabled. Is there anything that I might be doing wrong?
Basically I took a clean fresh drobo with no content on it and hooked it up to my pogoplug and it'd didn't mount to the pogoplug. Then I tried adding some content... still nothing. Then I turned off journaling and presto the drobo mounted and showed up on my.pogoplug
Any ideas?
Hook up the Drobo to the pogoplug then walk away, grab a smoke or coffee or find the cure for cancer and then refresh the pogoplug. I have had my DroboPro take up to 30 minutes to "mount" in pogoplug. As I stated above, I do not know why this is. Sometimes it mounts to pogoplug right away, sometimes it takes a while. If you refresh the pogoplug after 30 minutes and it still is not being seen, then you are back to square one - but give it a shot. YMMV.

Here's what I did....
When I first got my pogoplug I plugged in the drobo and after about 4 hours still nothing came up. I disabled journaling on the drive and presto it came up in a matter of about 30 seconds. I used it for about a week that way then in the middle of a transfer the pogoplug got disconnected and since journaling was disabled the drobo was corrupted. I ran a disk repair on the drobo but it would never mount again - (luckily I had a second drobo I backed up to first).
Then... I completely reformatted my drobo set it up as journaling again, transferred all of my data to it again, and plugged it into the pogoplug - again after 4 hours it won't mount. It mounts perfectly to my mac but not to the pogoplug.
I do not want to disable journaling again in order to use my drobo with the pogoplug - doing so puts my data a risk of corruption again if something fails during a file transfer.
Hmmmm.....

Definitely don't disable journaling again. Make sure to contact support and they'll figure out what's happening.
Has this issue been resolved. My Drobo won't mount on the Pogoplug Pro, after turning off Journaling.
The web interface isn't working. I'm getting the following errors: "An unhandled RPC exception occurred on method listFiles: 500 [Unspecified server error]" or "This drive is not available".
I've restarted it twice; no joy. I can access all file via my Android app, and the desktop. The weekend is here, and I use the pogo to stream movies for the kids while we're on the road...HELP!

Hi Rob_805
Sorry to hear about this. This sounds like a lingering issue from a service interruption we experienced on September 10.
Please contact Support; they should be able to help you out. Login to my.pogoplug.com and 'Submit a support ticket' using 'Help Center'
