Yes, one way (the way I did it) is to create a .dmg file and place everything that you want to see in there. Mount the image and go to system preferences/sharing/file sharing. Add (+) the image, go to options and make sure smb sharing is checked. Log into Boxee and browse to the :workgroup and it will appear as part of the workgroup. You can then use Boxee or XBMC to view video.
