You simply need to tell us when a UK version is available.....
I've seen the reviews, got up early to watch one review on the BBC and I simply want to buy one.
Got my new USB hard drive that I would like to share pictures etc with my family and friends but just one thing missing......
Come on!!!! Get the UK version shipped....you would make a fortune!!!!

Has anybody heard of a rough release date? I emailed Pogoplug near US release and they said UK Pogoplug would be released soon after the US one.
How much longer do we have to wait?! Im sat here ready to throw money at you ^_^

do they not work outside the USA or is it that are they not shipping internationaly?

They do work outside the USA, I am in the UK and have one. I believe they are not shipping internationally.

how did you get to work in the UK? does require any additional power transforms etc?

I am in the UK and I have a Pogoplug. All I had to do to make it work was remove the detachable two pin American plug and insert one othese power cables you get with small HiFi's. I did not have to modify it in any way shape or form. It works perfectly. I have had it for nearly a month now. I never really had any need for it. Its just that I love gadgets. If anyone is interested I can sell it to them. Post on hear if you are interested.

Well I cheated, I'm off to Florida on holidya Friday and I'm getting two sent to the Hotel :)
And it's jsut60 days away to 2010, although when in 2010 is another matter (if at all, it's not unusual for dates to slip)

I can't find pogoplug even on ebay. We Demand Pogoplug in Europe NOW!!! :).But seriously I can't understand the reason why an international costumer can't just buy online this product.Any way it's their lose , till 2010 maybe an even better/cheaper product comes around , which doesn't snob €uros

Smitty here from Pogoplug. We get it. The EU is a really important market and there's a ton of interest from folks. We're working pretty hard to get set up for business there: negotiating with distributors, retailers, setting up fulfillment warehouses and customer service, getting all the appropriate language support, etc. The good news is that we're closing in on all this stuff and I expect we'll be selling there in Q1. We appreciate everyone's patience and please stay tuned.

Can I add Smitty was one of the people who helped me get the order in, and it's already in a UPS trick from California to Florida (but I'm stuck in the damp cold UK!.
The only "problem" I may have is currrenty it's a US only product, as soon as I take it out the US thats it according to the warranty. Now I don't expect it to be DOA but that a a chance I take..
However the guys at PogoPlug have been really helpful and I guess they'll have it here soon.

Gavin: Although the warranty currently says it's limited to the US, we'll certainly honor the warranty when you take it out of the US. Sorry, the lawyers always make us say that kind of stuff. Also, when we officially launch outside the US, the warranty will be extended to those places.

The plug works on 100-240V AC, and whilst supplied with a US style plug this can be removed to reveal a figure 8 type lead.
Only been back about 2 hours from the Airport so not had time to set it up and play but I don't expect issues here in the UK, other than having to go on Holidya to Florida to get it.

Just had the disappointment of not getting my new PC in time for Christmas from Dell - was so looking forward to it....

Just been watching the Live CES Coverage on TWIT LIVE with Leo Laporte and saw the segment on your product - hadn't heard of it before..

Downside... I live in the UK!!!!
