New production of the Pogoplug began shipping from our manufacturer a few days ago, and should begin arriving at our warehouse in California this Wednesday, May 27th. A second larger batch will arrive the following Wednesday, June 3rd. We should be able to resume shipping by May 28th and complete outgoing shipment of backorders by Friday, June 5th. As always, each customer will receive an individual shipping confirmation.

We have received concerned feedback regarding charging cards at the time of purchase, despite delayed shipping. We hadn't anticipated running out of Pogoplugs so quickly, and then faced a delay getting our next shipment. While our order fulfillment process is quite sophisticated, unfortunately in this case it was a little too automated.

The delay in receiving new units wasn't properly communicated to our order system, so credit cards were billed at the time of order, with the order system assuming they shipped out immediately. We have already implemented a change in our system to pre-authorize amounts BUT not charge.

We apologize for the confusion, and certainly for the lack of communication on our part. We continue to refine and improve not just our product but also the entire Pogoplug experience.
