I ordered the PLUG about 4-5 days ago. I was wondering if anyone knows when it will be in stock and ship. When ordering it just states 1-2 weeks. I find it odd and bad business that they would charge you and take your money when the item is not in stock. Most companies do not charge until the item is in stock and ready to ship. I am waiting for it cause I would love this product. Just my two cents .

I agree! I am still anxiously awaiting my PogoPlug, but was VERY surprised to find that they charged my card almost right away and I have yet to get shipping notification.

I have read the 1-2 weeks post, but a little more communication on that topic would be nice.

To put it simply, we messed up!
We hadn't anticipated running out of Pogoplugs so quickly, and then faced a delay getting our next shipment. While our order fulfillment process is quite sophisticated, unfortunately in this case it was a little too automated.

The delay in receiving new units wasn't properly communicated to our order system, so credit cards are being billed at the time of order, with the order system assuming they are being shipped out immediately.
We are working on a fix but it will take a few days to implement.
In the meantime, I apologize for the confusion, and certainly for the lack of communication on our part.
We pride ourselves on being responsive and responsible, and live by the knowledge that our success is based entirely on the happiness of our customers!

Yeah i figure it was a screw up. But than again at least you admit the screw up. Just sucks stuff like this happens and apology has to happen and it has to happen on a website that is other than the main website. Should be some warning on official ordering site. Anyways I AWAIT my PLUG. Any REAL ETA???

Please provide an estimated ETA of the Pogoplug that I ordered on 5/1/09. I also am unhappy that my account was charged when I have no idea when the unit will be SHIPPED!

I ordered mine back on May 5th - 05/05/2009 POGOPLUG.COM 415-7388076 CA (from my credit card charge) and still no Pogo?
