A way to share folders and allow others to read and write but not delete the files is needed.

Permission control like we have with FTP would be great.

BTW, noticed you have a Slingbox Pro HD and Sling Link. I am also a Lead Moderator on the SlingCommunity.com if you have any questions on them you may want to check that site out.  I have 2 HDs and am also running a Sling Link to a Solo along with a couple other Sling products.
BTW, I am not advertising another site the SlingCommunity is also ran by Capable Networks who runs this site.

But speaking of Sling Media products. Ya, I am hijacking this thread now, any mods around Smile.

I am working on getting the Pogplug to work with the Sling Catcher so it can see all the files on it and you can still share them with others.

Just a thought... The write option IS a delete option. If I am shareing a MSWord doc and I want to delete the info wether I have permission or not, I just hit backspace and it is gone. Same with Photos et.al.

If you are going to share your work outside of "read-only" you are trusting those people.
