I'd really like to see authenticating proxy support added to Pogoplug Drive. It's the only thing preventing me from transferring my iTunes library to my Pogoplug's hard disk so I can directly access it from work.

Me too!

I can't run Pogoplug Drive at work because of proxies in the way. That's the only thing keeping me from seamless use of the Pogoplug.

This is a highly desired feature for me as well

These days, I would also request that Pogoplug Drive not require administrator rights to install, either, for single account use on the machine it is being installed on. I don't have admin rights on my work machine these days, unfortunately (central corporate IT management, don't you know).

Any progression for the proxy settings?
I sort of disappointed that the Pogoplug Drive app misses such a basic network-function...

Did you ever fathom this out?

this is the single most important function, otherwise pogoplug is simply malfunctioned dropbox.

This is indeed a very highly needed feature. I cannot use the desktop software as the proxy at work needs authentication. Programs like skype have this feature. Webaccess works fine

Yes, I would like that. This thread started 2 years ago, so I assume it is not going to work......

I can not wait anymore. I will use transparent proxy device between the network and poor pogoplug. e.g. dd-drt has such function, you can utilize cheap old fashioned router for this purpose. http://www.pogoplugged.com/forum/thread/12145/Squid-Proxy-blocking-Pogoplug-d...
