Not all of us have upgraded to Leopard yet, and it would be great to see support for 10.4!

Check the download site now. http://www.pogoplugged.com/download/11442/Pogoplug-Drive-for-Mac-OS-X/
There has been an update Pogoplug Drive is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X (10.5 and above).

The May 2009 update of the Pogoplug software claims that it supports Mac OS X 10.4 (aka Tiger).  However, the Pogoplug specs say OS X 10.5 is required.  So is Tiger supported or not?

I ask because I am using an old Mac Mini as a media server on my local network.  It's a PowerPC running Tiger -- I'm not sure where you can even buy the Leopard upgrade anymore.

I would like the Mac Mini to able to write files to the Pogoplug drive.  Can I still do this without the Pogoplug software or is there a way to mount the Pogoplug drive on the local network?

We stopped developing for 10.4, but there is an older build for Tiger that we still keep available for users here

One thing to note here - once you've installed it, it will still notify you that there is an upgrade available) with a yellow bang - ignore it, as there is no update for it.

Obviously newer features, like Active Copy, won't be available, but basic drive mounting is there.

Hope that's helpful!

Yes, thank you... that's exactly what I needed to know. I can understand why you no longer support the old platform, but I appreciate that you still have the old version that allows basic access.

Is this version that works with Leopard still available for download? This link above is only for the most current version which requires Snow Leopard. In addition to a MBP that is running Lion, I have a PowerPC Mini and a Powerbook G4 running 10.5.8.

thanks.

Hello, I'm very interested in buying a pogoplug, but I can't find the drivers for Mac OS 10.4 Tiger in the download section, and since my only computer is running Tiger, I would definitely need them to use Pogoplug.
Does anyone know where to find those drivers? I'm delaying my purchase until I find them, because i don't want to buy something I won't be able to use...

Thanks.

Another 10.4 user looking for the legacy software. Does anyone have it? I just bought a PgoPro & would like to use it with the older computers in the house.

Thanks Brandon C!

I also sent an email to pogo support, and they replied back to me promptly with a link to a newer version than what you have on your site. I tried it out (Pogo Pro & PowerBook G4 w/ OSX 10.4.11), & so far so good!
