NetCams typically only support a few simultaneous users at best. Hence, a PC-based web server with camera management software is required. Could a strong web service be run on the PogoPlug to support inexpensive USB WebCams, thus creating a secure, low-cost plug-n-go solution for remote surveillance, convenience cameras, or family cams?

This would be awesome. Is there any way to install a usb webcam driver using open pogo?

I third this. Seems like it wouldn't be to difficult of a feature to implement. Cam(s) could be accessed via my.pogoplug.com to view live images. Could set up recording or occasional picture taking to an attached drive.

Or you could turn your pogoplug into a web server for monitoring your cameras. How to do it here;

Remember, its not what life does to you, but what you do with what life does to you, that matters.
