Preferably FTPS, but being able to serve content via FTP would be really, really nice, even if it did mean opunching a hole in my router firewall (expected).

I just bought pogoplug today. Now i find out ftp is not a function of the device. I need ftp, but since this is not available, I am returning the device to where i bought it. Ftp option is mandatory for my uses.

There is no way you can get around not having to use FTP? Between the website, desktop, and mobile apps I haven't missed having FTP functionality at all. It's a really insecure method of transferring data.

Yeah, POGOPLUG is a modern-day FTP. You would likely use it to replace FTP.
