I agree. My brother was resently downloading a 800mb file. For whatever reason, the download stopped after one hour. He has to re-download it again now from scratch. This could happen to anyone at any time for a number of reasons on long downloads.

If the Pogoplug could resume the download for him via the same mechanism that a BitTorrent Server affords, that would be preferable by far to the present limitations.

There might be some other way to resume 3-hour aborted downloads from a pogoplug, but it seems to me that a BitTorrent Server on the Pogoplug is a necessary feature.
