This is a useful workaround suggested by one of our Pogoplug users for sending a share to a large email list. They didn't want to email all 100+ sharee's and didn't want to use a public link because they wanted some password security. You can treat a group email or distribution list exactly like an individual email, here's how:

- Login to my.pogoplug.com, navigate to the folder or file you want to share, right-click and select 'Share'.

- From the Share popup, enter the name of the email group. We use 'group@domain.com' in our example. Make sure your own email is included in the group email.

- By default, your sharee's can view and download your personal media. To restrict access to your intended recipients, first select 'More Sharing Options' then 'Require sign-in to view this share'. Sharees for 'group@domain.com' will need to use a password. Click 'Finish' to create the share.

- If you want your sharee's to be able to upload to your share (folder only), select 'View' next to the sharee's email and select the 'Collaborate' radio button and click 'Finish. Sharee's will be required to login using a password by default.

- You'll need to advise your email group of the Pogoplug password to use. Assuming your email is included in the group email, open your invite to the share and create a password for group@domain.com and login to view your Share. Now you can pass on this password to everyone included in your email group.
