We've been working on big updates to our entire line of applications and services here at Pogoplug, from our recently released Software that turns any PC or Mac into a Personal Cloud to our improved iOS apps. But today, we're excited to release a brand new version of our Pogoplug for Android app.

The new app adds some great new features and fixes a number of bugs, giving you a fast, seamless cloud streaming experience from any computer or external hard drive right to your Android phone.

Here's what's new for Pogoplug on Android:

Pogoplug OneView lets you see all of your music, pictures and movies across as many Pogoplug enabled PC's or external hard drives as you want. Your files are all organized and deduplicated to give you one easy to use library for accessing, streaming and sharing.
Gallery: View all of your pictures in a single gallery - *Exclusive to our Android app - navigate straight through your pictures with a flick using the new Filmstrip interface
Jukebox: Stream your entire music library right to your mobile phone. No worrying about storage limits - whether you have 2 songs or 20,000 - all of them will be available for streaming right on your Android phone.
Cinema: Stream high quality movies, optimized for your Android phone straight from your PC or external hard drive

If you're new to Pogoplug, just download the Android app, along with our free software to enable your PC files for streaming. You can download the software on as many computers as you like and all of your shared files will be accessible right from your Android app. (note: The gallery app is 100% free, along with local streaming of music and video via wifi - remote streaming for music and video is available with Pogoplug Premium software for $29).
