There has GOT to be an easier way of doing this. I want to use it as a server so bad, but my head hurts just thinking about trying to do what that video showed.

The fine folks over at Lifehacker have posted a current-as-of-this-moment tutorial on converting your Pogoplug into a Linux based web server. We've posted on this before, but an awful lot has changed with the associated PlugApps projects since then. I followed the tutorial from LifeHacker, and then found a comparable (easier to follow) version on the pogoplugapps site.
Either they are both missing some crucial step or steps. Because I was not able to do this.
