How To Turn Your Pogoplug into a Fully Decked Out Web Server

The fine folks over at Lifehacker have posted a current-as-of-this-moment tutorial on converting your Pogoplug into a Linux based web server.  We've posted on this before, but an awful lot has changed with the associated PlugApps projects since then.  So, if you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your terminal skills brushed up, this might be the tutorial for you.

There has GOT to be an easier way of doing this. I want to use it as a server so bad, but my head hurts just thinking about trying to do what that video showed.

I followed the tutorial from LifeHacker, and then found a comparable (easier to follow) version on the pogoplugapps site.
Either they are both missing some crucial step or steps. Because I was not able to do this.
